Why I'm running a 'Pre-order' for this album.
Money is tight since I changed jobs, and so - I've realised the only way I can get some CD's made and printed is the 'Kickstarter' route, but - they take a percentage and I'm not looking for money from people I don't know ... so! - I'm doing my own 'Kickstarter' via PayPal as a simple preorder. As soon as I have the money I need to get the CDs made (£200 will do it) - I'll get them ordered and send them out. I think that's simple and transparent?
About the album.
I've had most of the songs in my head for almost two years, but so little time (and, in many ways, little incentive) to put the time in to record and produce the album. The title is something I've had little choice in. It came to me a few months ago, and - it's the right name for it. I know what it means, and I suspect you will too.
What does your £10 pre-order get you?
It guarantees (so I long as I reach the £200 target by the middle of August) the you'll receive the album (or your £10 refunded if I do not) as both a physical CD and printed booklet AND a digital download. I'll sign them, if you like. Or, even if you don't :D
When will I get my album?
I plan to order the CDs to be printed mid- August, to be posted out or delivered end of August. The digital download could well arrive before then, unless people wish to wait for both at the same time.
